(India:- Arid northwest, Central highlands, Eastern Himalayas, Gangetic plain, Northeast, Southeast, Southwest, Uttar Pradesh, Western Himalayas, Andaman Islands, Nagarhole National Park,)(Indonesia- Greater Sundas, Bangka, Belitung, Engganoindonesia, Java, Lingga Islands, Mentawai Archipelago, Mollucas, Natuna Islands, Nias, Riau Islands, Sumatra.) (Island of Borneo:- Brunei, Kalimantan.) Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam. Introduced species:- USA:- Hawaii.
